In 2016, a group of friends, then in their second and third years of the Dramatic Literature and Theatre program at UNAM, came together to reflect on their relationship with violence in the country and with the patriarchal figure, drawing on the text by Wajdi Mouawad. They undertook a year-long laboratory that resulted in the staging of Litoral but, more importantly, also gave birth to the collective La Compañiasauria: a collective that didn’t want to be serious, but saurian. A space where friendship fueled other intensities in the creation, and vice versa.
